Master's internships and theses
Exciting Research Opportunities in Molecular Dynamics and Water under confinement!
We are looking for highly motivated Master’s students to join our research group for a Master’s internship or thesis. If you are curious about how water behaves in extreme environments, this is your chance to explore its structural and dynamic properties in nanomaterials and biological systems.
Using advanced experimental and spectroscopic techniques, we investigate the role of water in molecular interactions, phase transitions, and biomolecular function—providing insights that are crucial for biophysics, nanotechnology, and material science.
What you will do:
- Construct nanoscale confining systems, such as lipidic mesophase
- Study water crystallization using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)
- Investigate how biological confinement influences water properties.
- Gain hands-on experience with calorimetric and spectroscopic tools.
Who should apply?
Students with background in physical chemistry, materials science, biophysics, or a related field who are eager to explore fundamental molecular processes.
